My name is Ben Waine and I am the owner and Managing Director of Premiere Velocity.
My role specifically is to oversee the day to day running of the business and inparticular balancing the books to make sure we are able to keep supplying the UK market with the best cars in the the world. I ensure that pennies are saved every month to keep our toy cupboard fully stocked throughout the year. I also can’t help but get involved in all other aspects of the business occasionally so don’t be surprised if you see me arriving at your front door with your Supercar!
I have a degree in Economics from Royal Holloway University and spent nine years at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) after claiming a place on RBS graduate corporate scheme. During my time at RBS I spent two years working in credit analysis and business risk for the Lombard Asset Finance division before moving out to the sales force where I worked my way up to Director of Asset Finance for Essex. This role saw me work with many local small to medium sized firms and gave me the bug to get out and do something myself, which I did with my now business partner Stephen Price and so here I am now.
I must confess I am not a massive petrol head, unlike most that work here, but when a new 4x4 joins the fleet I can’t help but jump behind the steering wheel. If I had to pick a favourite car in our toy cupboard I would have to go for the all new Range Rover Vogue, not just because I can barely fit in a Ferrari but because nothing beats the sheer luxury of this stunning vehicle!
I have been involved in the Supercar Hire industry since 2006 when I founded Churchillsupercars alongside Toby Churchill. After also working for Ludo Hire in Stoke on Trent for a couple of years, I joined the Première Velocity team in September 2012.
As the Operations Manager, I have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the fleet of over 40 prestige, sports and supercars. This means ensuring that all the cars are presented in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. I also have responsibility for managing the delivery team to make sure the cars arrive in the right place at the right time.
Supercars have been a passion since my teenage years when such iconic cars as the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa were around, however, my all time favourite has to be the 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO. I have been a fan of mid-engined V8 Ferraris ever since!
Corporate Events Manager
My name is Lynne and I am the Corporate Events Manager for Dreamcar Events. After over 12 years at Barclays I turned my attention to the world of supercars….
My job is to create brilliant events working directly with clients or in conjunction with external event companies. From event brief to execution of events, my team and I travel the length and breadth of the country with our beautiful cars watching our clients have the time of their lives.
When I’m not doing this job, you are quite likely to find me delivering your car if you have chosen our self drive hire as I do moonlight on the driver delivery team too!
My favourite car? I will bore anyone who will listen to me about the Audi RS6 - best all round car I’ve ever driven. On the fleet? the 458 Spider exudes passion and power, and the much-lauded Range Rover SVR emits a noise that makes you look around for a supercar!
Supercar Event / Car Specialist
I’ve been in and around supercars for most of my adult working life. Starting at 18 as a race instructor in the driving experience industry, I had always wanted to work with exotic cars. After an 18 month stint as a freelance manufacturer driver I decided that being part of the best company in the Supercar Hire industry was the best option, so in 2011 I joined the PV team.
After over 3 years at the sales helm, my automotive experience will now see me partner up with Lynne Waine and the Dream Car Events team to start creating what I truly believe to be the best public driving experience day on offer in the UK. I will be bringing my driving experience, unrivalled supercar knowledge and general unaltered passion and enthusiasm to the event days ensuring that everyone has the best experience possible!
Supercars and Motorsport have always been a huge passion for me, and I’ve striven to ensure my driving ability and understanding of this niche marketplace is on par with my love for the product.
A consistent high scorer in the Premiere Velocity Annual Karting Clash...unless the management cheat of course!
My favourite car would be a contest between the Pagani Zonda F or the Ferrari F40 – two cars never to be repeated in terms of sheer excitement and automotive passion. Slightly unfortunate that you would need to fork out close to 7 figures for either.. I clearly have expensive tastes.
Dreamcar Events Team Member
I graduated from Manchester Met University in Technology Management; a time when personal computers were made up of printed cards and cassette tapes. It could be said I bring an element of experience to the DreamCarEvents team, however I prefer to just rely on my total passion for the SuperCar Events days. I’ve worked on the 6 Car Supercar Day for DreamCarEvents since its inception in 2005 and the magic of the day for all attendees is still bewitching. As part of the Events team at DreamCarEvents I revel in the delights of ensuring the SuperCarDays are a never to be forgotten, safe experience for all customers fortunate to attend.
The Supercars are the Kings of the Day but helping to organize all of the elements that make up the Perfect event day makes for a very satisfying “job well done”!
My Favorite SuperCar – the one nearest to me; they’re all stunning!
Hi, my name is Stephen Price and I am a Director here at Premiere Velocity.
Originally from a fitness background, my love of Supercars stems from my childhood growing up in London and seeing the odd Lamborghini Countach & Ferrari Testarossa drive by, and thinking what it would be like to drive one. This passion for sports cars continued from my early driving years until I eventually drove my first ‘Supercar’ back in 2003.
Première Velocity came about after spending some time as a supplier to a few hire companies and realising that I could possibly produce a level of service that wasn’t being offered and we have slowly grown to become the class leader in our niche market with our main focus on customer service and retention.
To date we have developed the company and currently operate as: Première Velocity, Dreamcar hire & Dreamcar events
